Amelia Parkins

A/TEAM LEADER BUILT ENVIRONMENT

Amelia is a Senior Heritage Consultant within the Built Environment team located in Wagga Wagga.

She is a passionate advocate for regional NSW and through her work at Artefact her mission is to promote the rich heritage of regional NSW.

Amelia has completed two master’s degrees at the University of Sydney, one in architecture and the other in heritage conservation.

“My artefact is a vase by a Cobargo artist which was gifted to me by the Cobargo community after working with them to rebuild their main street after the Black Summer Bushfires. The colours of the vase are reminiscent of the fires but also a symbol of hope for the future and is a constant reminder of the value of working with community.”
