Jenny’s artefact

Close-up of a person holding a small, ornate, gold-colored sword or dagger with a rounded handle and detailed blade, wearing a dark shirt with pearl buttons and a green bracelet on their wrist.

“This kilt pin belonged to my great-grandmother. Although small, it carries a much larger story of family, migration, identity and memory. It reminds me that artefacts form tangible connections between people, places and the past. Finding and interpreting these connections continues to inspire my heritage practice. ”
