Jonny Love

HERITAGE MANAGER

Jonny is the Heritage Manager at Artefact Heritage. He specialises in archaeological research, fieldwork excavation, artefact interpretation, report writing, and project management.

Jonny is a highly valued team member who received the Managing Director's Award for Heritage Excellence in 2025 for his extraordinary achievements in the heritage consultancy. 

Jonny has worked on a number of complex Aboriginal and historical archaeological projects across Sydney. He has recently been approved by Heritage NSW as a Secondary Excavation Director for a historical project in Parramatta.   

Jonny was awarded a Bachelors in Archaeology and a Master of Research (MRes) at Macquarie University (HD).

  • Historical test excavation at Parramatta where I was approved for Secondary Excavation Director. We excavated an area which had potential for an 1820s cottage.
