Specialising in Media and Communications in the Cultural sector, I have worked as a Manager across a number of organisations.  I enjoy creating events and stories that showcase people and their endeavors, and finding new ways of shining a light on hitherto unknown fields of work in the Cultural sector. I have experience in the areas of digital production, website design, adult education, history, research, communications and marketing.

At the same time as working part-time in my role of Communications and Engagement Manager at Artefact, I am also working part-time as Executive & Strategic Development Manager at the History Council of NSW, with both roles enabling me to design events and communications channels to promote History to business and the community.

My earlier career includes working as a Factual TV Producer and Manager at the ABC, and as a Manager at the National Film & Sound Archive and the City of Sydney, to name a few.

I hold a Master of Education in Adult Education, Graduate Certificates in Human Resource Management and eLearning, and a Bachelor of Philosophy in Modern History.  I hold memberships of the History Council of NSW, the Society of Australian Genealogists, the Australian Historical Association, and Oral History Association.

This camera has been in my family for a number of years now.  It is a Zeiss Box Tengar 54/2, and was purchased by my cameraman husband as an artefact that represents his profession.  We have a number of old cameras, but this is our favourite.
