I offer a wide range of skills in historical excavation, recording and reporting, both in Australian and overseas contexts. During my time in the UK, I gained historical archaeological experience, primarily undertaking excavation and recording archaeological features through written evaluation, photography and section drawing. This experience consolidated my interest and approach to heritage conservation and management. As a result, I offer experience in non-Aboriginal aspects of professional heritage consulting and archaeology for a diverse range of heritage listed places across NSW. These skills include archaeological excavation, archaeological assessments, statements of heritage impact, heritage impact statements, photographic archival recordings, constraints assessments and consistency assessments.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts majoring in archaeology and history at the University of Sydney in 2015, I decided to move to the UK to pursue a career within the heritage industry. There I was offered a job with Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA) in Cambridge as an archaeologist in mid-2016. After spending over a year in this role, I moved back to Sydney to undertake a Masters in Heritage Conservation at the University of Sydney. Since being offered the role of Heritage Consultant at Artefact in 2018, I have been able to put my passion into practice by providing heritage background and advice. It’s also been a privilege to take part in archaeological excavation across a diverse range of heritage listed sites across NSW. Outside the workspace I often spend my weekends and spare time exploring heritage towns and properties as a tourist rather than a heritage consultant, going to Pilates classes, taking my dogs for walks and making pottery.
