I am a Graduate Heritage Consultant here at Artefact Heritage in the Major Projects team. With my colleagues I work on some of the larger projects around NSW. I recently moved to Sydney and I am enjoying getting to know the heritage of the city better through my work.
During my degree in Ancient World Studies I went on exchange to the Institute of Archaeology at University College London for a semester. This also led to field work at an archaeological dig in Portugal in 2019. Following this I did a Master of Heritage Conservation, Historic Preservation and Conservation at the University of Sydney. I love all aspects of museums and heritage and in my spare time I have volunteered with the Melbourne Museum and National Trust of Australia.
This is an old brass pocket-sized compass. The compass was a gift from my mum. To me it represents the importance of being curious about the world and having sense of adventure.
