At Artefact, we’re proud of our record of zero lost time due to injuries since the establishment of the company in 2010. We achieve this record by combining safety and quality in our approach to work. Our Quality Management System (QMS) continues to evolve over time, both to align our own procedures with current standards and to deliver the best possible heritage outcomes for our clients.
All Artefact team members participate in a shared ‘just culture’ that improves both quality and safety. Adapted from the aviation and medical industries, a just culture urges every member to report honest mistakes, problems or issues without fear of punishment. By encouraging our staff to speak up early and speak up often, we are able to explore improvements through a staged process of risk analysis, root cause analysis, and both individual and team debriefs.
