NAUSHEEN

I look after Accounts Receivable and Account Payable at Artefact to ensure they are processed according to deadlines and time schedules.

Part of my role involves researching and investigating discrepancies in invoices to ensure accuracy of charges and timely communication with our clients.

I enjoy my role as I uphold integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting whilst complying with national and local financial regulations. I also perform other tasks like reconciliations and data analysis.

ABOUT

NAUSHEEN

My previous experience includes working as an Accounts Officer within the finance teams of prominent organisations like Waverley Council, and I-Med Radiology - where my duties involved keeping up-to-date account records and overseeing smooth transactions and communication with clients.

I graduated from Western Sydney University with a Master of Accountancy and have sound knowledge of accounting functions.

I enjoy being part of a team as well as working autonomously and have a can-do attitude.

My job is to deliver timely results (at an individual and organisational level), which is possible when we all work together for a successful outcome - to me that's a win-win!

MY ARTEFACT

MAMMOTH IVORY CUTLERY SET

I have always been fascinated by cutlery and recently learnt that the oldest known spoons are a set of mammoth ivory spoons found in Avdeevo Russia. They’re an incredible 21,000 years old and made from an animal that is extinct!

Most mammoth tusks are found in frozen ground, or permafrost, in the Arctic.

The best-preserved specimens are in far northern Yakutia (also known as Sakha) in Siberia - where mammoth artefacts are common in the archaeological record.
