Sandra Wallace has over 20 years of experience in cultural heritage management and archaeology. Her expertise spans Aboriginal heritage, non‑Aboriginal archaeology and built heritage. She specialises in strategic assessment and approvals advice for large infrastructure and complex projects.
Sandra was a member of the Independent Working Party for Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Legislative Reform in New South Wales and has presented papers at numerous international conferences. Sandra is also the author of the book, ‘The Contradictions of Archaeological Theory’, published in 2011.
DIRECTOR TECHNICAL
Josh Symons
Josh has 20+ years of experience in archaeological and cultural heritage management in Australia and the UK spanning heritage assessments, consultation with Aboriginal stakeholders, archaeological excavation, and management of large-scale heritage projects.
As Director, Technical Josh leads the Artefact team to successfully design and deliver heritage and environmental management solutions for clients. He works closely with the team to ensure technically accurate advice is provided and that our work is delivered at a consistently high standard.
