Location: 357-363 Crown Street and 2 & 4 Gladstone Avenue, Wollongong on Wadi Wadi Country
Level 33 engaged Artefact to develop a Connecting with Country Report for a concurrent Rezoning Proposal and SSDA mixed use development in the heart of Wollongong.
The solution
Artefact gathered existing work done by the City of Wollongong who have consulted with local Elders and Knowledge Holders about important cultural values of the area.
A cultural immersion experience was coordinated for the project team with Gumaraa Aboriginal Experience. This helped inspire the project team to Connect with Country.
