PROVEN EXPERIENCE

Since 2010 Artefact is proud to have worked on a diverse range of large and small-scale infrastructure and development projects.

During this time we have built-up extensive experience in a variety of sectors including rail, roads, power and renewables, health, greenfields development and urban renewal.

Some of the more well-known projects we've been involved with include: Central Station Metro; Parramatta Light Rail; Sydney Metro City & Southwest; Wickham Transport Interchange; Northern Beaches Hospital; St Vincent’s Private Hospital; Concord Forensic Mental Health Unit; Sydney Harbour Bridge; The Northern Road Stages 1 & 2; Berry to Bomaderry Upgrade (Princes Highway); West Wyalong Solar Farm; and Wind Farm and Transmission Line projects in the Pilbara and Western NSW.

RAIL

Artefact has extensive experience providing Aboriginal and historical heritage advice for rail projects. We are the go-to heritage firm for rail infrastructure projects.

Artefact have worked on almost all major rail infrastructure developments in NSW over the past decade including all Sydney Metro programs, Inland Rail, Epping to Thornleigh Third Track, Inland Rail, Wickham Transport Interchange, the CBD and Southeast Light Rail, Inner West Light Rail, Parramatta Light Rail, Newcastle Light Rail, upgrades to the Blue Mountains line for the new intercity fleet, and Lithgow Remodelling.

Along with these major projects we have worked with Sydney Trains and the Australian Rail Track Corporation on a host of other smaller rail projects in metropolitan and regional areas.

Artefact has also assessed over thirty heritage-listed railway stations, including Wynyard, Museum, Central, and Wentworth Falls stations, and worked extensively on the Transport Access Program at listed stations across NSW.

Recently, Artefact completed a number of Connecting with County and heritage interpretation projects for Sydney Trains and Transport for NSW, including two nominated for National Trust awards.
