Approaching every project with passion

We work closely with artists and stakeholders, heritage specialists, community members, local and state government agencies, and corporate clients to design public art projects that enhance public understanding and appreciation of public, community and heritage sites. Our projects use a variety of artistic media to creatively bring stories to life, with a strong focus on honouring cultural narratives and fostering cross-cultural understanding.

Artefact’s proven expertise lies in creating opportunities for diverse voices to be reflected in public art. Through authentic engagement with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal artists, and in collaboration with communities, we ensure public art projects respect and amplify cultural and place-based narratives.

We understand the power of public art to forge meaningful connections between people and places. That’s why our team approaches every project with passion, expertise and creativity to ensure a truly engaging and impactful result. We’ll listen carefully to you and your stakeholders to develop effective and captivating approaches that fit within your project’s specific requirements and budget. Delivering world-class results is important to us, and we thrive on offering engaging, effective and sometimes surprising integrated solutions to design challenges.
