I am a Technical Director here at Artefact Heritage. My expertise is in Australian historical archaeology and archaeological fieldwork and I have worked in various capacities (excavation director, project manager, site supervisor) on some iconic sites including the UNESCO World Heritage listed sites of Old Government House and Parramatta Park, Sydney Opera House, Kingston and Arthur’s Vale Historic Area (KAVHA) Norfolk Island and the Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne.
I have worked in archaeology and heritage management for over 25 years and I have worked internationally in Cyprus, Italy and former Yugoslavia. I am also the current ASHA President because I believe it is important to actively promote archaeological best practice and heritage conservation.
I chose my trowel because it is a symbol of the work that I do, and my philosophy to be curious and keep digging.
